Debi wrote the following note to me upon Oksana's arrival home after her second day at school:
"Ok - This kid continues to amaze me! She came out of school all smiles - and when I asked if she had a good day she said: 'Yes, friends...ha! ha! very fun!' She proceeded to tell me that she liked all her classes, all her teachers, and made lots of friends. She is going to need help in Algebra tonight. I told her you would have to help! She is giggling and laughing talking about all the kids. She says: 'Lots of friends...no names, just friends!' Are you surprised? She told me about this big guy who was her friend and just started laughing saying how funny he was and that they said: 'Hi friend, bye friend! No name!' She and Kelly are partners for nutrition, but she said that she didn't understand that class. She liked English and said that Rosetta Stone was easy and helpful. Mr. Panini's algebra was good in that someone whose sister is Russian (or knows Russian) was going to help her. And IPC (science) was good as well. Guess we can't ask for more...especially since I didn't ask for that much. (see verse below) Two days down - successfully - God is merciful! I am to meet with her teachers on Thursday afternoon if Ms. Wiseman can arrange it - we figured two days of each A & B days would give Oksana, us and the teaching staff a good taste of how to go forward."
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..." Eph. 3:20

What an exciting time for your family. We will pray that the people the Lord intends on speaking into your daughter's life are recieved well by her and that Satan will not deter them.
